Chapter 4
4 Years Ago

It was then again two years after the bandit attack that I returned to this town. I was thirteen now and Jade was ten. And as I came to the town the same bandits from two years ago were attacking. So just as like two years ago I rushed in and saved Jade and then everyone else making sure to kill all the bandits I could along the way. Then once again helped rebuild the town but this time I stayed behind for a short while to talk with Jade before leaving again.
"Hey Sam...can I ask you a question?" Jade asked.
"Sure, what is it?" I asked.
"Whatever happened to your parents?" Jade asked.
"They were killed by bandits" I replied.
"Do you really have to leave again, what if more bandits come?" Jade asked.
"Don't worry, as long as I live I'll make sure no harm comes to you" I replied looking at her and smiling.
"Thank you" Jade said and smiled back.
Then slowly as we both looked at each other we began to come near to one another and our eyes closed until finally we were kissing. Later before departing I gave Jade enough money for four years but just as I was off Jade asked me something.
"Sam, can you promise me something?" Jade asked.
"Sure, what is it?" I asked.
"Next time you in town...will you pick someone to be your wife?" Jade asked.
"Sure, I'll make sure to do that" I replied and smiled which caused Jade to smile back.
Then I was off.
